In general, the obligation to record working hours and/or absences in the TimeManagement application passes. Note: Employees from salary class 21 and professors do not have to record working hours or absences. Academic staff are exempt from recording working hours, but must record absences. Employees in salary class 18 and above can agree to trust-based working hours, but must continue to record absences.

The line manager is responsible for the organization of work, including home office.
Residence in Switzerland: Home office should not exceed 40% of contractual working hours.
Residence abroad: Home office should not exceed 20% of contractual working hours (for social security purposes), up to 40% of working hours is possible depending on the country of residence.
